The CBC has published a story on a study done by CIBC and Angus Reid on the thoughts on home ownership. The study concluded that nearly 2 in 3 homeowners won't sell because of how much it costs to buy again.

The way you have to look at this is all relative to the market. You can still take advantage of the market by securing a low-interest mortgage and using 20% as a down payment.
