The first and probably most important step when preparing to sell your home is to begin to declutter your living space. Keeping spaces neutral, clean and simple looking will be more attractive to potential buyers. You may find yourself deliberating your choices for many objects along the way – keep in the room, put in another room, donate or give away, sell or ultimately trash. Try not to waste time on pondering over one thing. Tackling one room at a time, then sorting into piles will make this process much easier. Be sure to keep like things together and to label boxes and bins for quick retrieval in the future.
